How To Force Cortana To Use Google Instead of Bing

Force Cortana to use Google Instead of Bing to get your information

By defaults, Cortana uses Microsoft Edge browser and get the information you need from Bing. But many of you using Google Chrome to surf the web, also Google search engine is the most used one all over the world. I have a good news that will make you force Cortana to use Google Chrome and Google search engine instead of Edge and Bing. 
The first thing we are going to make Chrome our default browser, simply install it them do the following...
Go to start menu

1. Select settings
2. From the settings window select System
3. On the left side of system window, select Default apps
4. Then go to web browsers
5. By defaults, it is Edge click on it and select Chrome as in the following picture

Now we made Chrome our default browser, if you go to Cortana and searched for something, Google Chrome will open instead of Edge, but Cortana Still using Bing to get the information. 
Let now make the last step to make Cortana use Google search engine instead of Bing …

1. Go to Google
2. Search for Webstore
3. In the Webstore search for Chrometana
4. Select Chrometana and click add to Chrome
5. After it added Chrometana page will open and ask you to choose which search engine you want to use, simply select Google.

Now go to Cortana in the taskbar and search for something Google Chrome will open using Google search engine to get the information.
